A native Arkansan now living and working in Los Angeles? Nashville, Hicky (no one calls him Chris) has had a long love affair with moving images. Introduced to still photography as a kid by his grandfather, Chris snapped and developed pictures of the rural delta all the while soaking up stories rich in color and character. His love of photography transcended into an even deeper love for the power and magic of music videos and movies. Creating moving visuals has been his driving force for as long as he can remember, and along the way Hicky has carved a very successful career in the music video world. Grammy nominated and recipient of various other awards, Hicky has a client list that includes Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley, and Lady Antebellum just to name a few. Hicky has also helmed various commercials including a Super Bowl Spot, as well as short films including Blue Horse, another Arkansas based story.
Hicky recently finished his first feature film, “The Grace of Jake”.
