Catriona McKenzie’s most recent credits include episodes of SHINING VALE, PIVOTING, THE WALKING DEAD, and Marvel’s new show ECHO. This season, Catriona returned to SHINING VALE and directed episodes of ALASKA DAILY and THE BOYS, as well as the highly anticipated second season of OUTER RANGE (Plan B/Amazon Prime).

She is an award-winning Indigenous Aboriginal Australian from the Gurnai Kurnai tribe writer and director of both Film and Television, including four pilots, two full series and over 50 episodes of TV. Raised in Sydney, Catriona studied screenwriting and directing at both the prestigious AFTRS Film School in Australia and NYU’s Tisch. SATELLITE BOY, which Catriona wrote, directed and produced, won multiple awards at festivals such as the Berlinale, and was nominated for the AACTA award for Best Film (Australia’s Academy Awards).

Equally adept at Drama and Comedy, Catriona has shot pilots for Australia’s ABC and SBS networks and has directed episodes for all of Australia’s major broadcasters. She directed on Hulu’s HARROW, starring Ioan Gruffudd. Catriona directed the first season finale of Rob McElhenney & Charlie Day’s comedy, MYTHIC QUEST, for Apple, HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER for ABC, THE CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA for Netflix, and RIVERDALE and SUPERNATURAL for The CW. She was the co-executive producer on THE REPUBLIC OF SARAH for The CW.
