A long time influence of Traci’s, Cameron Crowe wrote these words about her:
It is with supreme pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for one of my favorite creative bright lights, Traci Goudie. I have watched and admired the spirit and dedication with which Traci has approached her work. She has a wonderful sense of art, cinema, audience, music, spirit and understands the intangible element that brings the best out in her colleagues – generous enthusiasm. All of it shows up in her work, on the page and on the screen. She roots for all to do their best, and her influence brings the greatness out in all those around her. The world needs her films. Having been a director, screenwriter, journalist and documentarian for over twenty years, I have had the good fortune to observe many dynamic talents up close. Tract is at the top of that list. I am thrilled to be able to add my voice to the others who will surely join me in singing her praises.
